The event is jointly organised by the Department of Information and Chitrakala Parishat. Mukhtiar Ali, 38, belongs to Mirasi clan of folk singers from Bikaner in Rajasthan. He blends folk with poetry of Kabir and many Sufi poets.
He has performed in European countries. The programme is open to all and entry is free.
