Speaking to media persons here on Friday, Secretary of the Trust Devanand C A said that Home Minister Dr V S Acharya will unroll the name plaque while proprietor of Sukhsagar Group of Hotels, Mumbai, Suresh Poojary will inaugurate the programme. Former MP Vinaykumar Sorake will preside, he added. The institution will offer training in mechanical, electrical and automobile streams for the students in the surrounding rural areas.
Kundapur MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty, Bhatkal MLA J D Naik, MLC Kota Srinivas Poojary, MLC Prathapchandra Shetty, Udupi MLA Raghupathy Bhat and Former Minister Jayaprakash Hedge will be guests on the occasion, he said. Krishnappa Kotian, Chandrasekhar H, Tejappa Bangera, Bannanje Babu Ameen, Dayanand and others were present at the press meet.
