Applications for fellowships

Karnataka Sangeetha Nritya Academy has invited applications from experts belonging to Scheduled Tribes for fellowships under 'Girijan Yojna' for research in music and related art forms.

Aspirants should be graduates and aged below 45 years. The aspirants should enclose a five page extract of their research along with the application. Candidates would be selected based on interviews.

Poems invited
Poets International has invited poems in English language not exceeding 30 lines for its anthology Poets International 2017 to mark the completion of  its 34th year of publication.

Practical workshop
The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers will organise a job-oriented, practical workshop on Embedded Systems and Design from October 8.

 Breast cancer screening camp
Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology will conduct a free breast cancer screening camp between October 9 and 31 at its premises.

Interior design certificate programme
Maharani Lakshmi Ammanni College for Women and Creators & Desginers-Institute of Interior Design Studies will conduct a six month certificate programme and one year diploma in interior design for students, housewives, senior citizens and working executives from October 12.
