An automatic teller machine (ATM) dispensed torn notes, leaving a customer perplexed at Vidyaranyapuram in the city on October 17.
The customer visited the SBI ATM in Vidyaranyapuram to withdraw Rs 10,000 in cash. The ATM has dispensed 17 pieces of Rs 500 denomination notes in torn condition with plaster on the reverse side.
The customer has decided to visit the branch on Thursday, as Wednesday is a bank holiday for Naraka Chaturdashi.
