Hasanamba Temple receives record Rs 4.14 cr through donations

For the first time in the history of Hasanamba temple, the administration has registered a significant increase in its income. The temple has received Rs 4.14 crore between October 12 and October 21.

The temple authorities calculated the donations collected in 16 hundis on Sunday. The counting process, which commenced at 9 am, was completed by 7.30 pm. As many as 50 people counted the money.

The total income includes donations collected in the temple hundi and the temple income from various sources including pujas and offerings. While the hundi collection of Hasanamba Temple went up to Rs 1,10,91,383, the collection in hundis of Siddeshwara temple is Rs 7,68,090.

The temple has generated revenue of Rs 2,96,04,494 from the distribution of laddus and entry tickets.

Interestingly, a few banned Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 currency notes, foreign currencies, ornaments, credit cards and letters related to family disputes were also found in hundis.
