JOIN USAmbedkar Temple is here
The Ambedkar temple here was inaugurated by Veerappa Moily way back in 1994.
The Sambashivamurty Swami of Kammasandra was instrumental in the construction of the Temple. Even today Swami offers prayers at the temple.
Every year special poojas are offered to Ambedkar on his birth and death anniversary. Poojas are also offered on other festival days. The temple is decked up like any temple with flowers, bunting made of mango leaves and others and statue decorated with flowers.
Even on Wednesday the Ambedkar statue was garlanded by the swamiji.
Karnataka Rakshana Vedike district unit president Rajagopala Gowda, Kammasandra MPCS president K V Kumari, Secretary Shivanna, taluk panchayat former vice-president Gopalappa, Damodor, Abbanna and others were present on the occasion.
