Chaitanya, Prithvi star for Jawahar

Chaitanya S’ six-wicket haul and Prithvi V’s unbeaten century helped Jawahar Sports Club (1) record a 135-run win over Visweswarapuram Cricket Club (2) in the KSCA Group I, Division I, II and II under-14 inter-club cricket tournament here.

The match reduced to 38 overs a-side after the wet outfield delayed the start.

Jawahar batted first and rode on Prithvi’s 101 to post 195/3 in 38 overs.

Chaitanya then sprung into action, claiming figures of 6/10, to bowl out Visweswarapuram for just 60 in 29.5 overs.
