Udupi lad all set to create Guinness record

Speaking to the media, Pradheesh said he has set a target of 1000 meters of continuous drawing for four days, and plans to use 30 rolls of drawing chart for the purpose. He will begin his mammoth task on November 7 and intends to complete it on November 10 at his college premises in Kota.

The theme for drawing is Swacch Bharath. Under the Swacch Bharath theme, issues like ancient India, present India, Swacch Bharat and future India will be drawn. He will use color pencils, pastels, crayons, and sketch pens. No paints will be used as it is a sketch only.

The 17 year old is very enthusiastic and he plans to break the existing record of 660.222 meters by Parimalakanth of Tamil Nadu. Currently Parimalakanth holds the title.

Pradheesh said he plans to cover 250 meters of drawing per day and 35 meter an hour. One roll will have 35 meter of drawing sheet.

The task will be witnessed by Ramesh Rao (veteran artist Udupi), D V Hegde (AEE, PWD Udupi), Gopal Kharvi (Guinness record holder in Swimming), Karje Balakrishna Shetty (Notary Brahmavar).

Pradheesh's event will be recorded and the video will be sent to Guinness office for approvals.
