Narrow escape for schoolkids as jeep stuck on bad road

Six students had a  narrow escape on Wednesday evening when a private  vehicle bringing them back  from school  got stuck on a stretch full of potholes  in  KHB Layout in Old Kengeri, West Bengaluru.

The accident occurred on the road that connects Suncity and Bande Mutt.

The  Force Trax had picked the children  from nearby schools and was taking them to their homes in  Suncity Apartments when a series of potholes  pushed  it off track,  eyewitnesses said.

Passersby rushed to the spot and  moved the children to  safety. The jurisdictional  Kengeri traffic police were informed  and they rushed to the spot to tow the vehicle away. Since there was no casualty, no one has come forward to make a complaint. Police didn't open a suo motu case either.
