Man seeks permission for mercy killing

"My brother has been troubling me over a property dispute. Mentally stressed over the issue, I have written to the President seeking permission for mercy killing," said ex-serviceman C B Prasanna. He is a resident of Chikkakunda in Kodlipete of Somwarpet taluk.

Briefing reporters, he said: "my brother has been harassing me daily over a property. Suitable action should be initiated against my brother." He also sought protection for his family.
