Two BJP workers killed in mishap while returning from party rally

Two BJP workers from Dandeli in the district were killed when their bike skidded off the road near Kesarolli on Thursday night.

The victims Sambaji Balaram Sambrekar (32) of Mirashi Galli in Dandeli and Edu Mavula Goud (27) were returning home on a two-wheeler after attending BJP Parivartan Yatre rally at Shivaji Maidan in Halyal on Tghursday evening.

The bike skidded off the road and fell into a roadside ditch. Both suffered serious head injuries and bled to death on the spot.

Halyal MLA and District in-charge Minister R V Deshpande spoke to the family members and conveyed his condolences.
