Death for refusing sex

A man killed his wife for refusing to have sex with him. The accused, 35-year-old Sanjeev Kumar, has been arrested on charges of murder.

According to the police, Kumar's wife, Suman (30), resisted attempts made by her husband to have sex with her a few days ago. She, in fact, snubbed him for forcing her to have sex, which is what angered Kumar.

He then strangulated his wife. The incident took place in village Jogna in Haryana's Kurukshetra district.

Kumar is a painter. According to sources, Kumar's wife had been avoiding sex with him for the last few days as Kumar was running a fever and was also diagnosed with Dengue. The police said that after strangulating Suman, Kumar slept assuming that his wife had fallen unconscious.
