BCU invites logo design, motto statement

The newly formed Bengaluru Central University is inviting a logo and a motto statement from the public.

The logo and the motto should reflect the geographical, cultural, socio-economic, educational, technical and other salient features of the territorial jurisdictions of the university, along with the higher education concept.

The creators would be suitably rewarded and felicitated.

Those interested can submit their designs and statements to the registrar's office on or before December 11.

The government trifurcated the Bangalore University with two new additional varsities - BCU and Bengaluru North University - by an order on August 13, 2015.

The BCU is an affiliating university with territorial jurisdiction made of the Assembly constituencies of Shanthinagar, Byatarayanapura, Yelahanka, Malleshwaram, Hebbal, Shivajinagar, Gandhinagar, Chamarajpet, Chickpet, Basavangudi, BTM Layout, Jayanagar and Rajajinagar.
