Cyclothon by Air Force Command Hospital

A team of 18 members from Command Hospital (Air Force) Bengaluru (CHAFB) embarked on a cyclothon  from Bengaluru to Secunderabad on Friday.    

There are seven doctors including one lady doctor in the team besides 9 paramedics and 2 support staff.  The cyclists will pass through Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.  The team, on the way, will interact with school children and the general public to spread awareness about physical fitness and prevention of lifestyle diseases.

The event  is organised by Adventure Cell, HQ Training Command Indian Air Force, Bengaluru to commemorate the golden jubilee year of CHAFB. Air Marshal SRK Nair, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Training Command, Indian Air Force flagged off the cyclothon.
