Pothole Yatra identifies over 420 potholes in  city

The Navbharath Democratic Party's pothole yatra ended on Tuesday after seven night and eight days.

The yatra, which covered a total of 210 kms in the city, identified more than 420 potholes in 50 kms of main roads.

Aneesh Vidyashankar, a walking violist, paid a musical tribute to those who took part in the yatra. Homage was also paid by holding candles to those who lost their lives while avoiding potholes

"There are around 1,400 km of main roads in the entire city. On an average, there are at least five potholes every kilometre," a press release said.
