Youth dies in rail accident

A youth who came in the way of the Kolar-Channapatna passenger train near the Shidlaghatta station died on Wednesday.  

The victim has been identified as Jagadish (30) of Kadiripalya. The accident occurred on the railway bridge at Gandhinagar. It is learnt that he was standing on the tracks and got run over by the train.    

Railway police are yet to ascertain if this is an accident or a suicide. Investigations are on.
