'Animation inculcates creative thoughts'

The Department of Computer Science Application and Animation, St Aloysius College organised 'Sparkle 2017', a one-day national-level seminar on Saturday.

The seminar was inaugurated by DDU Kaushal Kendra Director, Dr Richard Gonsalves. Speaking on the occasion, he said: "Animation inculcates creative thoughts and better relationships." He urged the participants to use their skills in varied fields like medicine, forensics, architecture and so on instead of being restricted to the field of entertainment.

Vice Principal Dr Alwyn D'Sa said that animators have a wonderful role to play. As designers, sketchers, painters, you are going to be the future healers of the world. Cross the boundaries of infinity, and the best animation will take place there" he said.

St Aloysius College Registrar Dr A M Narahari said: "the year 2016 and 2017 were the years of imagination, bringing in many innovations." The purpose of this seminar is to celebrate humanity, commitment and sincerity and transforming knowledge into wisdom that reinforces humanity.
