<p> JD(S) supremo H D Deve Gowda on Tuesday said that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah should convene an all-party meeting to curb the violence that has erupted in coastal Karnataka.</p>.<p>He said that the Congress and the BJP were provoking violence to gain political mileage.</p>.<p>"The government should fix this problem by either convening an all-party meeting or by bringing the law and order situation under control. When I could resolve the Idgah Maidan issue, the government too can sort out this issue," he added.</p>.<p>JD(S) state president H D Kumaraswamy too charged that the national parties were disrupting peace and harmony in the coastal districts.</p>.<p>The party is also organising an SC/ST convention at Palace Grounds, Bengaluru on Wednesday, where more than one lakh people are expected to participate.</p>
