More than 30 sculptures were discovered during a research at Bheemanabeedu and Masahalli villages near Gundlupet taluk in Chamarajanagar district, recently.
The research was being conducted by S Manikanta, under the guidance of R Rajanna of department of History, University of Mysore, when the sculptures were unearthed.
Manikanta has stated that around 30 sculptures, dating back to 9th or 10th century AD were found at a place, in a press release.
