CHIDAMBARAM'S REACTION ON GDP SLOWDOWN ESTIMATES

NEW DELHI, DHNS: After a projection of slowdown in the economy in fiscal 2018, former finance minister P Chidambaram sought to know from the government how the promised two crore jobs would be created in this scenario.

"In a slowdown, how will jobs be created? And how will the promised 2 crore jobs per year be created? It is time government stops making tall claims and bends down to do solid work," Chidambaram said in a series of tweets.
