Former Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar and Lalu Prasad's youngest son Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday said that his lawyers would soon move Jharkhand High Court for obtaining bail for Lalu.

He made these remarks soon after the CBI court awarded 3.5 years of imprisonment to Lalu in a fodder scam.

Emerging out after presiding over a meet of RJD leaders here in the state capital, Tejashwi, who is also the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly, said why all the focus was on Lalu Prasad and his family.

"An impression has been deliberately created about Lalu ji as if he is the only corrupt leader in the country. Why there is no talk or discussion about the recent Srijan scam in Bihar in which more than Rs 1,000 crore has been embezzled in Bhagalpur?," wondered Tejashwi.

Flanked by his mother Rabri Devi and brother Tej Pratap, Tejashwi scotched rumours about a possible split in the RJD following Lalu Prasad's incarceration.

"Rather the RJD will emerge stronger after this episode as the politically-conscious voters have been watching each and every development very closely. The leader of the party which was voted to power in 2015 polls is behind bars, while those who were dumped by the electorate have been ruling the State through a back-door entry," said Tejashwi.

He vowed to expose Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and BJP's designs after January 14, the Makar Sankranti day.
