Gowda wants HDK to be CM

Addressing the party leaders at a meeting organised to evaluate the JD(S)’ poor performance at the recent BBMP elections, and also to discuss the forthcoming gram panchayat polls, he said his only aim was to bring the party back to power in the State. The party should win at least 120 seats, he added.

The JD(S) supremo said he would tour and address meetings in all the assembly constituencies from May 18.

“I will identify able leaders transcending the barriers of caste and creed,” he added.
Criticising the BJP government, the former prime minister said that the people were aware of the corruption in the government.

JD(S) State President H D Kumaraswamy said he would work towards fulfiling his father’s dreams.

“People have immense faith in the JD(S) party. We are looking forward to convert the faith into votes,” said former chief minister.
