Yenepoya gets NABH recognition

Yenepoya Specialty Hospital, Kodialbail has been recognised by National Accreditation Board for Hospitals and Healthcare Providers (NABH) for patient safety and quality care. The recognition comes into effect from January 8, 2018.

Yenepoya Hospital is one among the 491 hospitals across the nation to be accorded the recognition. There were around 1,200 applicant hospitals.

An expert team conducted a two phase evaluation before conferring the recognition on the hospital.

The criterion considered for the award were: quality of patient care, safety, courtesy, implementation of international standards, management of medicine, medical results, record management, control of viruses and performance of the staff.
