<p>The director of Urban Land Transport (DULT) conducted a meeting with bicycle operators on Friday to discuss the public bicycle-sharing system(PBS) in selected clusters within BBMP limits. </p>.<p class="bodytext">Recently, the DULT had invited for Expression of Interest(EOI) to set up PBS in the city.</p>.<p class="CrossHead">PPP mode</p>.<p class="bodytext">The DULT is teaming up with the BBMP to create 70 to 80 kilometres of cycling lanes in the Central Business District (CBD) under the public-private Partnership mode.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The 600 locations marked for the first phase include MG Road, Vidhana Soudha, Indiranagar, Banaswadi, HRBR Layout, HBR Layout and Kacharakanahalli.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Recently, the private PBS companies like PEDL by Zoomcar and Yulu, have started operating technology-enabled cycle sharing service in the city.</p>
