<p class="bodytext">A man died on the spot, as a gun misfired at him, while he was hunting under Harohalli Forest Range, in HD Kote taluk in the district on Sunday night.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Shivannegowda (50) of Kuniyanahundi in HD Kote taluk, is the deceased.</p>.<p class="bodytext">He, along with five of his friends, had gone for hunting to Harohalli Forest and the incident occurred near a Soliga Colony. According to sources, Shivannegowda sustained bullet injuries when one of his friends fired at a wild boar.</p>.<p class="bodytext">HD Kote police, who visited the spot, are investigating the case.</p>
