'Cooperate to ensure quality work'

Inaugurating ‘Arivu’, a programme to create awareness about Suvarna Grama Yojane, at Alagurki in Chikkaballapur taluk on Friday he called upon the residents of the villages to cooperate for the implementation of projects.

He also suggested the village dwellers to keep vigil on the work undertaken to ensure quality work.

Under the project Rs 40 lakh for Poshetyhalli, Rs 37 lakh for Ajwara, Rs 36  lakh for Patrenahalli, Rs 34  lakh for Kuppahalli, Rs 34  lakh for Kakalachintege, Rs 21  lakh for Kanajenahalli, Rs 54  lakh for Tippenahalli, Rs 50 lakh for Alagurki, Rs 49 lakh for Aruru, Rs 41 lakh for Chikkanagavalli village have been released, he said.

Zilla Panchayat Agriculture and Industries Standing Committee President G R Narayanasway said emphasis is laid to construct community hall at every village under the project and called upon the Women Self Help Groups (WSHGs) to utilise the project.

Taluk Panchayat Member K R Reddy various permanent projects are taken up in every villages. Emphasis has been laid to lay road, drainage and to provide other basic amenities in the villages, he said.

Venkatanarayanappa of JD(S), Gram Panchayat former President Appaswamy, JD(S) taluk unit  President K T Narayanaswamy, Manjunath, Shree Rama Reddy and others were present.
