He was inaugurating the inter-college cultural programme organised by Jagadguru Chandrashekarnath Swami Technical Institute in Chikkaballapur.  Shashank said education had turned into a business which in turn would harm the entire humanity.

The engineering students launched the programme with a inspirational song ‘Enagali munde sagali.’

Sub-Inspector of Police Shivakumar said the engineering students should grow by becoming the face of society. They should respond to the people with problems. The students should bring laurels to the parents, the institute and honour to the country by their achievements, he added.

Film star Radhika said  winning or losing in competitions was not important. The students who have come to participate in various cultural competitions should enjoy camaraderie which is more important. A few great friends can be made in such competitions and let such friendships be cherished forever, she added.

Principal Dr T Munikenchegowda said the hidden talents of the engineering students are going to be unearthed during the ‘Sangram’ programme. College administration board members D Dasappagowda, Dr K P Srinivasamurthy, Dr G R Gopal Reddy, registrar B K Umesh and others were present.
