<p>The Sixth Pay Commission headed by former IAS officer M R Sreenivasa Murthy is expected to recommend a 25% to 30% hike in salary of government employees.</p>.<p>The panel will submit its report to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Wednesday.</p>.<p>The four-member commission, which was constituted in June, is also expected to recommend a five-day work schedule for the employees.</p>.<p>It will also determine the new Dearness Allowances (DA) formula and propose quantum of various other allowances for the employees.</p>.<p>The chief minister is likely to incorporate the commission's recommendations in the state budget scheduled to be presented on February 16.</p>.<p>The employees are expecting the government to give them a good pay hike in view of the upcoming Assembly elections.</p>.<p>The government employees' association has been seeking pay parity with their counterparts in the central government.</p>
