A day after Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena's Mumbai leader Yogendra Singh Katar announced it has decided to  withdraw its protest against the release of Padmaavat, the Karni Sena Chief has ruled it out.

Karni Sena chief Lokendra Singh Kalvi and Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi, who, along with the chief had spearheaded the protest against Padmaavat, said their objection to the controversial film still stands and the protest will continue.

On Friday night, a press note from Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena's Mumbai leader Yogendra Singh Katar that went viral on social media said that on the directions of organisation's national president Sukhdev Singh Gogamadi, a few members watched the movie in Mumbai on Friday, and found that that the movie glorifies the valour and sacrifice of Rajputs and every Rajput will feel proud after watching the film.

However, both Gogamedi and Kalvi, in separate press conferences, said on Saturday that no such direction was issued to the Mumbai branch. "Our protests will continue. No such decision has been taken", Kalvi said.
