The Indian Air Force and Progress Harmony Development Chamber organised a seminar and exhibition on "Indigenisation of Indian Air Force Aviation Requirements" on Monday.
The chief guest, Air Marshal Sanjay Sharma, said the domestic industry must grab the opportunity offered by the armed forces.
HAL chairman Suvarna Raju said, "We must ensure that our Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises dramatically increase their footprint in the Aerospace and Defence Sector."
Raju said HAL is here to support the Indian industry and that that they are willing to transfer technology.
