The target set was Rs 68.10 crore but the collection has surpassed the target in a big way, he said and added that a total of 30,296 vehicles were inspected and cases were booked against 2,265 vehicles. As many as 15,159 iron ore vehicles were inspected and cases were booked against 3,443 vehciles and penalty of Rs 49,12,004 has been collected.
As many as 3,346 buses were inspected, cases were booked against 415 vehicles. As many as 1,737 autos were inspected and cases were booked against 163 autos.
