Last Updated 25 April 2010, 16:58 IST

Speaking after inaugurating the workshop, veteran journalist A Ishwarayya said photography is considered as an art, however its not a fine art. Current trend of digital imaging had complicated the process of photography. A person without the knowledge of photography can have the privilege of being a photographer. It supports countless number of photographs without constraints on the angles. A digital photographer is a person who goes for the shoot without any particular intention or idea. Globalisation has made the entire process automatic, he said and added that today we are in the wrong notions of photography.

Photojournalist Astro Mohan said photographs speak universal language. Photography is the process, activity and art of creating skills. It is the recording of image in a sensitive medium, he added. Ambalpadi Temple Dharmadharshi Dr N Vijaya Ballal and UPPA President Hemanth Padubidri were present.
