Reaction Budget - Children
A separate directorate for child protection has been proposed, which is a welcoming move by the state government. We have been asking the government to create a separate department for children as the issues related to children get buried under the Department of Women and Child Development. There is a whole gamut of issues related to children which needs special attention, a directorate is a very good move.
