2-day CET from tomorrow

The CET will be conducted in 228 centres of which 58 are located in Bangalore. As many as 32,034 students will appear in the Bangalore test centres while the remaining 83,809 candidates will write the test in 170 test centres across the State.

According to KEA, the admission tickets have been sent to all the candidates, and if the candidates fail to receive the same, the admission ticket can be downloaded from KEA website. The deputy commissioners of all the districts have taken the neccessary steps for the smooth conduct of examination.

The number of girls appearing for CET is 50,326 while boys is 65,517. As many as 1,084 Horanadu Kannadiga candidates, 488 Gadinadu Kannadiga candidates and 610 Jammu and Kashmiri migrants will appear for the test.

Instructions to candidates issued by KEA:

Dos

- Carry the admission tickets and read the instructions printed on the backside of the admission ticket

- Carry only blue or black ink ballpoint pen, for marking answers on the OMR answer sheet

- Be present in the examination centre at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the test

- Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam hall after the third bell, i.e. after 10.40 am and 2.40 pm

- Carefully enter the name as it is in the 2nd PU, CBSE, CISCE records

- Enter the CET admission ticket number and version code of the question booklet and shade the respective circled on the OMR answer sheet

- Completely fill or darken or shade the circle on the OMR answer sheet

- Affix the signature on the bottom portion of the OMR answer sheet

- Affix the left hand thumb impression on the bottom portion of the OMR answer sheet only at the end of the each session of the test

- Shade only one circle corresponding to the correct answer

- Collect the replica or candidate copy of the OMR answer sheet from the invigilator after the completion of each session of the entrance test

Don't

- Do not carry the slide rules, mathematical tables, markers, white fluid, erasers, modern electronic equipment such as cellphones, laptops, calculators and others into the exam hall.

- Do not mutilate or spoil or make any stray marks on the timing marks printed on the OMR sheet

- Do not damage the perforation provided on the OMR answer sheet

- Do not spread the ink on the other places of the OMR answer sheet while affixing the left hand thumb impression
