You've just moved into your new home and everyone is admiring it. Then, there is some talk about the vaastu not being alright. Well, worry not because with a little adjustment like feng shui, particularly in the bedroom, can set things right.

Did you know that your bed placement is important and can impact your personal energy? Creating a bedroom in accordance with good feng shui starts with finding the best placement for your bed and being aware of the placements to avoid.

Bedrooms are extremely important places in  feng shui. There can be no good feng shui in the  house  if your bedroom has negative energy. A bedroom with bad feng shui will also weaken your personal  energy, as well as have a challenging effect on the quality of your relationships.

Your bed is the most important piece of furniture in your life. Ideally, one spends six to eight hours there every day, so your bed has an intimate connection to your personal energy. Every element of your bed - the mattress, frame and sheets - either supports or weakens your energy.

Creating good feng shui in the bedroom  starts with finding the best placement for  your bed, as well as knowing what placements to avoid.

Here are some bad feng shui bed placements. If you can't avoid them, follow the tips to reduce their negative effects:

At night, your body needs strong support, as well as protection, in order to detox and regenerate. This is the reason a good solid headboard is highly recommended in feng shui. In addition to a good headboard, you might want to have a solid wall behind your bed. When you sleep under the window, your energy tends to get weaker with time, as it has neither proper support  nor protection.

Sleeping under a sloped ceiling can put your energy under constant pressure. This may affect your health as the regeneration process may be affected due to the pressure. It can also contribute to emotional instability and low energy. So, avoid vaulted ceilings in the bedroom.

Traditional feng shui masters say that a bed aligned with the door resembles a coffin that is always taken away feet first. When your feet are in line with the door, feng shui principles suggest you're losing energy at night, since the energy is not properly contained.

In feng shui, doors serve as energy connectors between different areas, and they have a sort of energy that pulls. If your bed is in line with the door, your energy will be constantly pulled at night.

Also, a bed too close to the bedroom door is considered bad feng shui. In order to create good feng shui energy in your bedroom, you need to have a nourishing, relaxing and sensual energy around your bed.

A mirror facing the bed directly depletes your personal energy when you need it the most: at night when your body is doing most of its repairing. A mirror facing your bed is said to bring the energy of a third party into your intimate relationship. Big mirrors are not recommended in the bedroom  since they bring the energy of the feng shui element of water.

A strong feng shui water element in the bedroom can attract or create the energy of sorrow. This doesn't mean you should avoid mirrors in the bedroom altogether; as long as it is not reflecting the bed and isn't so large that it overwhelms the rest of the room, it should be okay.

If you want the best bedroom feng shui, bear in mind these pointers and if need be, consult a feng shui master.

Hurry, let the good vibes in and live a stress-free life!
