Boeing to showcase its commercial capabilities at Wings India 2018

Boeing will highlight its innovative commercial products such as the 737 MAX, 787 Dreamliner and 777X at Wings India 2018. The biennial four-day event will be held at the Begumpet Airport here from March 8.  

"India is one of the world's fastest growing aviation markets and Boeing is proud to have been a strong partner for more than 75 years enhancing the country's aerospace sector," said Dinesh Keskar, senior vice president, Asia Pacific   and India Sales, Boeing Commercial Airplanes in a statement here.

"We look forward to this year's airshow and the opportunity to highlight Boeing's fuel efficient, reliable and capable airplanes that have, and continue to, enable airlines in India to open new routes and stay profitable in this ever-competitive market."

Boeing's exhibit will feature the company's fuel-efficient airplanes and world-class services to meet the needs of its customers in India and around the region. Airplane models highlighting Boeing's commercial capabilities will be on display as well as virtual and mixed reality headsets for attendees to experience.

Union Civil Aviation minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju will be inaugurating the aviation show in the presence of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and RN Choubey, secretary ministry of Civil aviation.
