Law and order has collapsed in the state to such an extent that it may not be a surprise even if the chief minister is murdered by someone, said Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly K S Eshwarappa.
Reacting to the assault on the Lokayukta, Eshwarappa said that there was no protection for anyone in the state and chief minister himself was unable to protect himself. "I will request the Union Home Minister to provide additional security for the chief minister," he added.
