Comedy with a big cast

The storyline has been pegged on the cinema industry itself. It follows the lives of two young men who move into the City to enter the film industry. “Cinema is an obsession with most of the young people. It’s the glamour and fame that attract them.”

“But the way into the industry is fraught with struggles and it’s hiccups all the way,” Ramamurthy told Metrolife. He says the story draws its inspiration from real people who roam Gandhinagar just to get a chance to act.  “They go from one director to another and wait hours on end on the shooting sets just to get a glimpse of their hero,” observes Ramamurthy.

Most of the top stars from the Kannada industry have been roped in for this venture. Sudeep will appear in a song. Vijay and Vijay Raghavendra will figure in a fight sequence. Ravichnadran too will shake a leg for a special song. The last song in the movie will feature 25 artistes come together in a single shot.
