FC Goa beat fellow Indian Super League side ATK 3-1 to book a quarterfinal berth in the Super Cup football tournament here on Tuesday.

Their star player in the Indian Super League, Ferran Corominas (45+1) opened the scoring for FC Goa before Robbie Keane (50th) replied with an equaliser soon after the lemon break in the round of 16 match at the Kalinga Stadium.

After a prolonged tussle for supremacy, Goa then wrested control midway through the second half.

A brilliant lofted pass from Corominas at the center line to French Hugo Boumous in the 69th minute saw the Frenchman make a beautiful run to the ATK box. He then made no mistake in finding the back of the net bringing back FC Goa in the lead.

Even as ATK searched for the equaliser, Goa struck again, through Brandon Fernandes in the 77th minute, ensuring the Goan outfit finished the game in convincing manner.

Jamshedpur FC had beaten I-League champions Minerva Punjab 5-4 in a sudden death penalty shootout in a round of 16 match on Monday.
