Obituary

He is survived by son V K Surendra and daughters Nalini and Kalyani. His wife Tara Krishnamoorthy pre-deceased him. His last rites were performed at the Electric Crematorium in Hebbal.

Born on August 21, 1916, Krishnamoorthy had graduated from the prestigious London School of Economics.

A former chairman of VST Tillers and Tractors Ltd which manufactures agricultural machinery, Krishnamoorthy was also the secretary of Kamala Bai Education which runs various institutes on Connaught Road, off Queen's Road. Besides, he was also the director of VHT Group of Companies which runs the India Garage and other automobile showrooms on St Mark's Road.
