A new video of Gujarat independent MLA Jignesh Mevani showed him calling for people to disrupt Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming rally on April 15. His address to a gathering in Chitradurga has now gone viral on Twitter.
In the video, Mevani called for people to enter Modi’s rally, throw chairs in the air and question the prime minister's promise to generate two crores worth of employment in the state. He said that if Modi does not answer, then he should be asked to leave and take shelter at a Ram Mandir in the Himalayas.
“I am not here to support any political party," Mevani said in the video. "I am here to awake the mass about the risk of fascism and ensure that BJP doesn’t enter South India.”

Mevani is campaigning against the BJP in Karnakata before the assembly elections. Previously, Mevani had said that he would ask every Dalit in Karnataka not to vote for the BJP and called the party casteist, communal and fascist. The BJP responded by calling Mevani a disgrace to civilised society. They also struck out at the Congress by equating the party with Pakistan.

Both want to break India
Both use proxy wars against Nationalist forces
Both have radical extremists on their side
And both are no match for Narendra Modi https://t.co/lJDSzJlrov
The BJP has appealed to the Election Commission to take action against Mevani for trying to incite violence.
