A delegation led by DCC president Harish Kumar submitted a complaint to the Deputy Commissioner against RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat for issuing provocative statements. The memorandum submitted to the DC said, "Bhat during his visit to Gaushala run by Rajaram Bhat on April 4 has incited communal hate among Hindus and Muslims through his speech. In spite of the election code of conduct in force, Bhat was involved in provocative speech, thereby violating the model code of conduct. Bhat has also insulted model code of conduct." "RSS leader Prabhakar Bhat has been working for the BJP. There are several criminal cases pending against him. His acts are in violation of the bail. Dakshina Kannada district is a sensitive district and his acts are aimed at affecting the communal harmony in the district. Hence strict action should be initiated against Bhat," said the memorandum.
