'Donors to facilitate KSP programmes'

Programmes will have to be held with the donation given by donors in the taluk, he added.

He was speaking at the parishad’s executive committee meeting on Sunday held at Vivekananda Vidyaniketan High School.

By holding  Kannada literary  programmes in every taluk in the district, one can  instill pride in the Kannada language among the people residing in border districts. Efforts should be directed towards enrolling one person per family as the parishad’s member, he observed. “ There is the need of a Kannada Sahitya Parishad Bhavan in the taluk,” said retired principal of PU College in Manchenahalli.

Ideological differences in the parishad should facilitate its growth, he said.
Manchenahalli M T Murthy, Dr I S Siddaramanna, Karekalhalli Venu and other spoke on the occasion. Ramachandra, taluk Kannada Sahitya Parishat vice-president M R Nagaraj Rao, Secretary Mallikarjun, Kannada Sene president S L Ramakrishna, Secretary Baichapura Gangadhar, Karnataka Rakshana Vedike Secretary Ashwathnarayan, D Palya KSP Co-ordinator Bank Manjunath, KSP members and others took part in the event.
