Prime suspect held

According to police, Puneeth alias A N Shivakumar (25) of Chamarajpet had played a key role in the killing of Sunil, who was hacked to death in K P Agrahara on April 23.

Six persons - Lingaraju, Sunil alias Nalkubhashe, Halukuri, Arogyanaadan, Arun alias Wale, and Nandeesh have already been arrestd for the murder.

They are said to have killed Sunil to avenge the murder of Cable Chandru, last year. Sunil's threat to Lingaraju on non-payment of extortion money is also said to be a motive. Police are on the lookout for Pramod, a henchman of Lingaraju.
