While there has been a drop in the number of schools which have secured 100 percent pass results, there has been a simultaneous increase in the number of schools with zero percent pass.

Only two of the schools without any pass candidates were government institutions. Overall, it has been a drop from last year, when 827 schools secured 100 percent results and 77 schools obtained the unwanted distinction of zero pass percentage.

This year Bangalore north (86) and Bangalore South (77) districts had the highest number of schools scoring 100 per cent results, followed by Chikodi (49), Mandya (47) and Mangalore (40).
