The film, his second home production after Love Aaj Kal, will see him pair opposite real-life love Kareena Kapoor once again. “The film belongs to a genre from the 1970s. It is being shot in Europe, Delhi, Morocco and the pre-climax will be in Pakistan,” said Saif.

Saif, who became one of the youngest Padma Shri winners, revealed that he has slowed down the pace of his life. “I took a good break for sometime. Right now, I am excited about life because my life is in my control. Yes, everything is happening for me, good films, an award and ads,” said Saif, who intends to do a romantic comedy in near future.

On the controversies which tend to surround him, be it when the Padma Shri was bestowed on him this year or his irritable bouts with the media, the actor said, “Whenever the government gives any award to me, there is a controversy. I started when I was 19, now I am 39 and over the years, I have mellowed down and have stopped reacting to news. I am mature enough to handle things.”
