Reshma Ramesh Pawar (8) succumbed to high fever at Belgaum’s KLE Hospital on April 18. Later on April 27 Pandu Kashappa Lamani (17) from the same village died at Shirahatti government hospital.
The condition of Indiramma Hoovappa Nayak, Shankar Vaghappa Lamani, Ramesh Peerappa Lamani who have been admitted to Shirahatti hospital is stated to be serious.
Four admitted to hospital
Four persons were admitted to hospital on Wednesday alone. People have alleged laxity on the part of the authorities in taking up preventive measures to check the spread.
