JOIN USMukkatira scored a comfortable 3-0 win over Koothanda in their semifinal encounter and Palanganda posted a 4-1 victory over Nellamakkada en route to the final.
Mukkatira went ahead in the ninth minute through Mohan and their second goal came through Vasanth in the 61st minute before Dharshan Aiyappa sealed the win with a strike a minute later.
In the second semifinal, Manju Muthappa put Nellamakkada in front in the sixth minute but Amar Aiyamma, who has been in top form right through the tournament, scored the equaliser for Palanganda in the 14th minute.
Palanganda’s Pragath sounded the back of the board in the 20th minute, followed by a strike from Mandanna in the 29th. With a 3-1 lead at half-time,
Palanganda looked well and truly in command and Amar added the finishing touches with his second in the 64th minute to hand his side a place in the final.
