A total of 6,423 students have passed in the district in PUC examination held in April. As many as 11,002 students had appeared for the examination of which 8,093 students were writing the examination for the first time, 948 were private candidates and the remaining 1,961 students were repeaters.
A total of 5,409 boys and 5,593 girls appeared for the examination of which 2,761 boys and 3,662 girls have passed.
A total of of 3,790 students answered in English medium while 7,212 answered in Kannada. As many as 2,184 SC/ST students appeared for the examination.
