<p>A man has been hacked to death in broad daylight at his house at Bellale village, in the taluk, on Thursday.<br /><br /></p>.<p>The victim has been identified as Krishnegowda alias Sunami Krishna (38), son of Narasegowda, a resident of Manikyanahalli. However, he was residing in a house at HLBC (Hemavathi) Quarters in Bellale.<br /><br />Police sources said, Krishnegowda was alone at home, watching television, when the miscreants, probably a gang, arrived in a car and assaulted him with lethal weapons. <br /><br />By the time the neighbours learnt about the incident, the gang had fled the scene.<br />Police said, Krishnegowda was the prime accused in the murder of one Ashoka, a resident of Manikyanahalli, who was killed in March 2012. He was recently released on bail. So, they suspect that it might be a case of revenge.<br /><br />Superintendent of Police Bushan G Borase, DySP Geetha Prasanna, Circle Inspector B S Prakash and Sub-Inspector Chandrasekhar visited the spot.<br /></p>
